Christ redeemed us the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us,for it is written : "curse is everyone who is hung on a tree." Galatians 3:13
On Good Friday,Christians around the world remember the passion or suffering and death of our Lord,Jesus Christ on the cross. Death by crucifixion was not only one of the most disgraceful forms of death but also one of the most dreaded and painful methods of execution in the ancient world. As we close this series on the crucifixion,take some time today to consider the sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross.
Many Christians spend this day in fasting,prayer,repentance and meditation on the agony and suffering of Christ on the cross.
